Hisaki b+w

Okay, so I went onto my windows partition hoping to make a page, but instead, I looked at my wallpaper on that side, and as always, got annoyed by that ugly panel in the middle I drew of Hisaki. DX Just to appease myself, I opened SAI and started sketching out how I'd draw it now, and then it came to this...

I constantly harass myself about my art, because quite frankly, I hate it at times. I've also been looking at others' manga art lately and I feel like mine pales in comparison to some. It seems like sometimes I focus too much on making my comic pages functional, and forget to be artistic about it. I think I need to experiment with the weight and amount of black in my images, and get to a point where I could stop using so many tones and still be satisfied with the image.

And that's where this image comes, from me experimenting with black space in my picture. Tell me what you think?
