I am getting way too slow with the comic lately. And seeing as, in 2 years, it will have been 10 years since I started working on the KS comic, and I'm only about halfway through... ugggh.
I don't want it to take another 10 freaking years to finish this comic. Dx
So I'm starting to think I need to figure out a new method of working on pages, that's faster and more efficient. My current process is to just work solely on one page at a time, but it might be time to stop being a baby about it and set certain days of the week to be dedicated to sketching/inking/toning etc... I dunno.
I know I should at least be getting 2 pages done a week. And it would be nice to get 10+ pages done in a month, if not an entire chapter...
My very jumbled thoughts aside, does anyone have any advice for being quicker about getting art done? I don't want the quality to take a nosedive if I try to do this...

You could set aside particular hours of the day where you only work on the comic. Force yourself into the habit and eventually it'll feel natural.
I don't know if you do this but thumbnails can be extremely helpful. Doodle out pages or chapters in advance with little stick figures. Saves time for thinking of layouts, character placement, etc. when it comes time to draw the actual page.
Maybe reward yourself for finishing at least one page each week? Adding incentives (or even punishments) may help you want to get the work done rather than dreading it.
No idea if the above may help you, but best of luck regardless! If it means anything, you're definitely one of my inspirations for comic artists c: I want to make my own one day and seeing you still alive and kicking through it is amazing to me
I really appreciate all the ideas. Thank you so much. x3
but in all seriousness, you think maybe spend a month of time drawing and inking pages and then the next month you can tone and word them may help?
i'd offer help but 1. i'm not as good as you are, and 2. busy T-T
and a small 3. i doubt you'd wanna do that anyways xD

I'd say use Rachel but she doesn't even have the right programs for that kind of thing, let alone the faith in herself to learn them 8T
i can help ink stuff (base inks) if that'd help at all. i tend to shoot through those kinda fast, but i'd need you to tell me if i needed to correct anything in the sketches so i don't accidentally ink something i'm not supposed to xD
Though you may have to take a break to get enough buffer lined up, and be sure to refill it before it runs out.
It's what I see a lot of comic artists do, idk how well it would work for you.
